Creating Modules and Themes

The Drupal Development Tool for Netbeans will create new modules and themes for you. Simply right click on the folder that you wish to create the item and New then Other:

The “New File” wizard will appear. From the “Categories” column on the left, select the “PHP” category. Once you do that you will have the option to create a Drupal theme or Drupal module on the right:

Select what you wish to create and complete the forms in the next two screens. Once you are finished the properly named new folder and all required files will automatically be generated and opened in your editor.
